Short proverb there but it has so much meaning to it.It reflects my inner sense and soul perhaps...
NoOne would truely understand their inner senses when you come to think of it..even myself...sometimes i cant do what my mind tells me to at some point of time,even if it pertains to family,friends and others who just judge me by my exterior.Well,cant blame them if thats how they see me, just that i carried myself in that manner all these while.Its due to Ageing crisis?..haha..i just dunt think so as im now finding for scapegoats to blame on...
I've got to get back to my usual self in nick of time...but not opting for a CHANGE at the same time though..but then again...it is inevitable!!!
I'm just ranting away my thoughts in this entry....
Ok back to my usual sense....
Just finished cleaning my room...(finally!).Would be meeting the 'Cartél' at Tamp central for a gathering...

Sorry guys cldnt meet up wif u all today...went to TTS hospital and spend my day there..wasnt doing anything other than eye-washing (chiobu nurses)..lol...
Saddened by the thought that i wont be able to drive to sch on the first day of SIP,damn TP bastards(targeted at TP from traffic dept)...available date for booking now is on 30th MAY!!!Fuck them...thats like more den 2 mnths away from NOW!!!...sheesh...
Guess i will just work till den to earn sufficient cash for my misc activities.

okay...im dyin out of boredom...sianz man my life..hmm the previous post on resolving conflicts is targeted at a group of people...but guess i wld never heed those tips given there..cos its not gona work out anymore.
Anyway, was in sch today hoping to finish up my chap 3 for compcom..but in da end ended up crapping wif vonne and mingli and the rest..hahaha
Nothing much to say for now, wait for compcom and msd to be over,den id start work to earn $$$.
Objective for today:
Finish up revision up to chapter 4 for compcom.

Conflict Resolution
What is a Conflict?
Happens when Personality clash, disagreement, when you have contradicting views, divergent beliefs and contrasting opinions. It is also an inevitable fact of LIFE!
How could you deal with an emotional outburst by an angry colleague?
Listen actively?
Clarify patiently?
Empathize warmly?
Question softly?
Ask our selves:
What are the differences?
Why do the difference exist?
Conflict management
· Trust building
· Goal setting
· Problem solving
· Open communication
· Listen to the verbal and non-verbal messages
· Appreciate differences
· Seek more information
· Be open
· Get out of your usual mode of thinking
· Be ready to admit weakness
Dealing with conflict
Firstly we should IMPROVE ourselves first before we want to change other people. We also should have the knowledge and intent to solve the conflict situation.
Rule of the FIVE C's
1) CONCERN
i) Is this situation really a concern?
ii) Will the situation solve itself without intervention?
iii) Is this situation a concern because of personal biases or prejudices?
2) CONFER
i) To initiate an informal conversation with the other person in private
ii) Is there a clear understanding of both parties regarding the nature of the concern?
iii) Do both parties know why the situation is a concern?
iv) State your views in a non threatening way
3) CONSULT
i) A formal discussion with parties involved
ii) Is it clear to all parties what is expected?
iii) Have the consequences of not resolving the situation been considered?
iv) This method requires firmness and directness
v) What can HE and YOU do about the situation?
vi) Then ask him if he’ll do that for you…
4) CONFRONT
i) A no-nonsense attempt
ii) Have sincere efforts been made to resolve the situation at each of the lower levels?
iii) Is there documented evidence to show earlier efforts to resolve the situation at lower levels?
iv) You must speak about unavoidable penalties, so that he knows you mean BUSINESS!
5) COMBAT
i) Strive to reduce or eliminate the concern
ii) Not ATTACK or FIGHT!
iii) Only do this when you really have no choice
iv) There will be winners and losers, so you have to be sensitive about this

Once a slave,always a Legend
Yay..the semester has ended...and exams have begun...though revision is ongoing...im pretty scared of the labtests..esp DSA....not due to some farked up pple...cos i still yet to decide if i shld BOYCOTT that bugger from my grp and 4 of us send in our REPORT..cos he is so stuck up...this is da best way to teach him a lesson. Any of his friends whom are reading this,please convey this to him..haha...he sabotaged us...now its our TURN.....
Oh well besides tat....this week has come to an end...finally. Yesterday was @ nick's place to check on him as his grandad passed away peacefully on wednesday morning.Memories never fade off when ur with ur loved ones man. Cheer up brother!..we are always here for ya...anytime and anywhere...
Alright..onces exams are over..its time to work!...My job is waiting over at the airport...hmm work until shiok...den must sign up for TP test also..must get my driving license before SIP starts...no matter wat man..haha...
Oh yes..i've decided to go clubbing and pubbing with my buddies once we start working...its time to throw aside the worries and problems and just enjoy to da fullest!!!WOHOO...

True Friends will always be there when u really need them....i knoe who are true and who are still wearing masks....damn its so obvious...well wat else is important in life when u cant even spend a little time off to share and empathize wif your own friends?...Blardy fakers...this shows me that ur living a worthless,self-centrerd life...even BROTHERS can backstab you sia.....haha...life is so comical man...
Such people have no existence in this world,no purpose of why they are living,no goals,no mission,no balls to talk it out,no NOTHING alright...simple as that.Frankly speaking they're just walking corpses.
Well, life is smooth still amidst of all these redundant problems,i still have great friends who find me worth for wat i am.Exams and labtests are around the corner..and SIP wld start thereafter...for then only OH gang and projects wld be in my mind...i wld just start afresh...but the friction wld still be there...if i eva see those pple outside of sch...i wld neva eva acknowledge them...cos not worth of my time.Ignorance is bliss guys.
I will try to work towards being a Tensai..haha oh well...but its hard to reach YC's knowledge..haha but ill work hard!!...Just gota erase this semester from my mind...TOTALLY...
